According to media reports, the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine could be seen in the gasoline-powered models of the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari, which could be mated to 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. There could also be a 1.2L 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which will be capable of generating 150bhp power and 250Nm torque. Currently, the Tata Harrier is offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine option. Currently, the 7 seater SUV Tata Safari is offered in India in the price range of Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 23.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Tata Harrier SUV in the price range of Rs 14.39 lakh to Rs 21.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
